One Young Man’s Journey to Hear Veteran’s Stories Stops in Tuscaloosa

Donnie Douglas has set out on a cross-country trek to preserve the character of our Nation's heroes and gain an understanding of what freedom truly means.

The 20-year-old started The Legacy Journey in 2015 in Myrtle Beach, SC. He's walking with nothing but an American flag and a backpack with plans to document the stories of our veterans and to give future generations an idea of what our men & women in uniform go through so that we can live in a free country.

We were lucky enough to have this young man stop by our studio and give us insight on how he came up with the idea, what he plans to ultimately accomplish and he even shares a recent story from one of our Nation's heroes.
