It's negligent at best to have unprotected sex with a person without knowing his STD status, but it's something much more insane to KNOWINGLY have orgies including someone who is HIV positive.

So, the good news in this is that the apparent stigma attached to being HIV-positive is going away. The more people are educated concerning the dis-ease, the better they understand that a dis-ease is exactly what it is. The virus simply weakens the body's ability to fight infection. That's it. It doesn't mean the carrier is nasty. In fact, those without the virus are a bigger threat to those with it than they are to us. A common cold for us is uncomfortable. For a person with HIV, it can be extremely complicated.

Now, for some reason, there is this trend among gay men called "sex roulette parties" where no one uses condoms, and they have sex with each other. The catch is that one person is secretly HIV positive. How a party is planned to include one HIV positive person without anyone knowing that person is positive doesn't really make sense. However, party attendees are said to be thrilled by the possibility of contracting the virus.

With most people avoiding illness as much as possible, this is just ridiculous. If no one is holding parties to kiss numerous people, one of which has the flu, why would the possibility of getting HIV be thrilling? This is just crazy!
