Outkast Returns to ATL
First Coachella. Now THIS! This morning, Billboard announced "Antwan “Big Boi” Patton and André "3000" Benjamin will bring their reunited rap duo to Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park on Sept. 27 for a headline concert." I see a nice birthday celebration in my future!

For those who are unaware, Outkast is ONLY one of the greatest musical duos to hit the scene! Before songs that crossed over like "Roses" and "The Way You Move," there was "Da Art of Storytellin," "Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik," "Aquemini," "Rosa Parks," "Elevators," "ATLiens" and "So Fresh, So Clean!"
And if you are a true Outkast fan, you might know something about this one:
Then, there's my all-time favorite: (NSFW.... Adult content.... Sorry, no clean version)
Here's what I DO know. The concert is on a Saturday night... The Saturday before my birthday that Monday. I guess I'll go ahead and make hotel reservations and purchase my tickets in advance*. Oh, let me help you out:
*Purchase tickets in advance: When plans are made to attend an event, the attendee purchases his/her tickets early. This accomplishes at least three goals.
- It solidifies the attendee's plans and secures his/her seats
- It gives the promoter the opportunity to plan for the show and determine if any other acts should be added for the attendees' pleasure, allows the promoter to contact city officials for proper parking and traffic flow, and gives the promoter a chance to decide if anything needs to be cut to stay within his/her budget.
- It gives other entrepreneurs the opportunity to plan side events around the main event.
I just felt the need to throw that out there since many people don't seem to know what it means to buy tickets in advance. LOL
According to Centennial Olympic Park, there will be a presale Monday, and tickets go on sale Wednesday.
