PDS Tornado Watch in Effect for Portions for Alabama–UPDATED
The National Weather Service’s Storm Prediction Center has issued a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION TORNADO WATCH in effect until 9 p.m. tonight for much of North and West Alabama. This watch now includes the city of Tuscaloosa.

* EFFECTIVE THIS MONDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 1240 PM UNTIL
900 PM CDT.

WIDESPREAD LARGE HAIL EXPECTED WITH ISOLATED VERY LARGE HAIL
EVENTS TO 3 INCHES IN DIAMETER LIKELY
SCATTERED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH LIKELY
THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 75 STATUTE
MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 65 MILES NORTH OF HUNTSVILLE
