Pickensville Church to Host Free Outdoor Movie

The weather seems to be playing games with us, but one thing's for sure: Spring is making its entrance!

With Spring comes numerous outdoor events, including a pasttime we all love-- Outdoor movies!

The youth department at the St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Pickensville, AL will host "Screen on the Green" on Friday, March 30.

The movie "Champion" will be shown, beginning at 7 p.m. There is no fee to watch the movie. However, refreshments will be sold with the proceeds benefitting the St. John Youth Department.

Since this isn't a drive-in movie, those in attendance are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.

Sounds like a great way to get outside, enjoy fresh air, and gather with neighbors and friends!  This could be a very fun, inexpensive family outing. Be sure to spread the word.
