This morning, I was reading about Ed Hartwell filing for divorce from Keshia Knight Pulliam. In my disbelief, I read post after post about it until I came upon something I found rather interesting.

After Melania Trump's plagiarism, the literary topic became a hot one. Preachers and motivational speakers alike expressed being disturbed when people used their lines without attribution. I'm sure it's at least a little frustrating to the original thinkers.

When I came across this, it made me think:

Nothing wrong with this post, right?

Well, I kept scrolling and came to this post:

It sounded strangely familiar. So, I scrolled back up to see if I was experiencing deja vu or what. Sure enough, the lines were the exact same.

So, what are the rules for sharing on social media? Should it be obvious that certain lines come from the original poster or does it matter?  Does stating "#share" indicate that this IS a share or an encouragement TO share? So many questions. What's the correct answer, though?
