Police Seek Drug Suspect

According to Tuscaloosa Police, 35-year-old Antwaun Sherrod Williams has been arrested in connection to a July 24, 2015 incident in which, a drug complaint was made in the 3100 block of Taylor Circle. The caller said that a black male was driving a black Lexus, from which drugs were being sold.

Responding agents located the vehicle occupied by Williams and driver 30-year-old Darryl Lamar Fulgham, and as they approached, Fulgham immediately left the area at a high rate of speed. A short high-speed chase turned into a foot chase when Williams jumped from the vehicle and fled on foot. He was apprehended while other agents pursued Fulgham in the vehicle.

Fulgham eventually exited the vehicle and fled, leaving the vehicle running. He was not apprehended. However, a search of his vehicle turned up 30.8 grams of Molly, .5 grams of crack cocaine, 1hydrocodone 10mg pill and 3 Oxycodone 10mg pills and $1,000.00.

Darryl Fulgham has active arrest warrants for Trafficking in
MDMA, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Cocaine, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Attempting to Elude. Williams was arrested on charges of Trafficking in MDMA, and 3 Counts of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance.
