For six years I lived in Tennessee, and every summer we would take a family trip to the mountains to visit Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. It's no fancy place, it has a super country feel, but it always felt like home. We would spend a week there site-seeing and visiting places like Dollywood.

But the place that once felt like home, has become another victim of Mother Nature's wildfires. It has damaged and destroyed  well over 300 structures and the numbers keep coming in. So far, it has claimed the lives of three people, but there is no official count.

At one point, there was 14 fires going on at one time. Super scary.

The people of Gatlinburg are now under a mandatory curfew from 6PM-6AM.

A police officer said local residents were running for their lives.

But officials are saying, the worst is over. It's time to rebuild.
