“RFID” means Radio-frequency identification. While watching my favorite news show a story came on about identity theft.  That’s something I’m not really worried about.  If someone did manage to steal my identity they would give it right back.  An RFID tag is a microchip that stores information by a special device called a reader or interrogator.  These tags can be found in some passports, identification cards, employee badges, credit cards, and even your driver’s license.  I was amazed to find out that some of these cards can be read up to 30 feet away.  Protecting yourself is rather easy.  I’ve found information that could help protect your cards from RFID scanning.  I hope you find this information useful.
