We all know that Pusha T is a dope rapper but his pen game stretches further than rap. Apparently, the Virginia rhymer wrote the 2003 jingle “I’m Lovin’ It” for McDonald’s.

In an interview with Hot 97, Translation ad agency CEO Steve Stoute revealed that his company started with King Push’s jingle.

"Our first big thing was launching 'I'm Lovin' It' for McDonald's in 2004," he said. "That's crazy that Pusha T wrote the song for McDonald's."

It goes to show the power of hip-hop when it comes to infiltrating corporate America. From the streets to the boardroom, rap is a powerful marketing tool.

As for McDonald's, Justin Timberlake would perform the upbeat ditty, which he pocketed $6 million from the deal along with hitmaker Pharrell Williams. Although Stoute didn't disclose Pusha T's cut, it's safe to say that he probably earn a decent paycheck for his contribution.

Pusha T is not writing jingles anymore, instead he dropping gritty street bangers like "Drug Dealers Anonymous" featuring Jay Z.

In the meantime, Pusha T is currently working on his next project, King Push, which doesn't have a release date yet.
