As of late Tuesday (Aug. 30) afternoon, Chris Brown is still inside his home as an easy confrontation continues between the singer and police officers. As reported earlier, Brown is the subject of a criminal assault investigation after a woman called 911 and claimed he'd threatened her with a gun. Police reportedly encountered Ray J when they arrived and detained him briefly; checking his ID and seizing his vehicle as evidence. He left the scene via Uber.

As the bizarre situation continues to unfold, Ray J went to Instagram to voice his support for his buddy Breezy.

"Yo this Ray J, check it out, I'm real upset about today. I'm not happy with how things are handled and how people can take a false story and blow it up into something way more than what it should be," he said in an Instagram video. "You got just positive people around and you look outside and it's like a war zone for no reason for somebody, some stranger said about something that don't got nothing to do with nothing. And to react like that so fast without really knowing the facts and knowing what's up aint cool and ya know. It's just not right. It shouldn't be like this. I support the homie Chris and I support the whole movement. I'm here and again man this s--t got to change. It can't be like this every time somebody yippin and yappin to get an extra buck. Ya know it turns around and it's all back on us. Ain't cool."

The police are reportedly still trying to reach Chris Brown himself.

"We are currently working with Mr. Brown's representatives to make contact with him," LAPD Officer Ramirez told E! News.
