Alabama will lose a number of football players from the 2016 team, but the first departure might be a slight surprise to some fans.

According to AL.com's Matt Zenitz, wide receiver ArDarius Stewart will enter the 2017 NFL Draft after a finishing a strong redshirt junior campaign.

The Fultondale native did a little bit of everything for the Crimson Tide this season, including completing both of his pass attempts. Stewart led Alabama in receiving yards (864 yards), yards per catch (16.0) and receiving touchdowns (8). One of the fastest players on the team, Stewart also carried the ball eight times for 68 yards and was also one of the team's top kick returners.

There are few NFL projections thus far for Stewart, but you can expect his name to start showing up in rankings and mock drafts once the underclassmen deadline passes on January 16.
