Ribbon Cutting for Alberta School Wednesday

According to the Tuscaloosa City Schools, the public is invited to the Alberta School of Performing Arts Ribbon Cutting, Wednesday, Aug 26 9:15 a.m.

The new facility replaces the Alberta Elementary School, which was destroyed by the April 27, 2011 tornado.  It opened for grades pre-K through fifth in January 2015 and is now at full capacity, serving grades pre-K through seventh.  Full story and more details.
