I've just come across the greatest information ever: How to never receive game notifications on Facebook! If you're like me, you were probably annoyed by your Facebook friends' constant requests for certain games until you realized they weren't sending them. And if you didn't know this before, now you do. Your friends never sent you a request to play a game. You know the little pop-up window that appears when you sign up for a game? Most of us click "accept" without ever reading what it says. What we are accepting is a request for permission to access our accounts and send things to our friends. Well, now there's a way to avoid receiving these notifications, even though they've given permission to send them to us. I've never been a fan of the Facebook app. I don't like receiving notifications all night. There is a certain amount of time I allow myself to be on social media. I pop in and check my page here and there, but not using the app gives me a little more control because it's easier to "not see" something than it is to ignore a notification. Anyway, I went into my account settings and to "Apps." From there, I went to "Platforms" and "Games." It asked if I wanted to get notifications from games and app invites, and I simply checked "No." There you have it! Easy. And you no longer have to delete your friends because "they keep sending you unwanted game requests even though you asked them not to." If you run across a friend who complains about game requests, share this information with them! I'm greatly appreciative of the person who shared it with ME!
