Rejoice Rihanna Navy! The singer has unveiled the "favorite album cover I’ve ever done" for her new project -- and it isn't titled R8.

Rihanna's eighth studio album, Anti, was announced shortly after midnight on Thursday (Oct. 7) via her Instagram page. The "American Oxygen" singer debuted the LP title and cover at the MAMA gallery in Los Angeles.

“I fell in love with it because I felt like there was another spirit, another layer to the art,” RiRi shared with her audience about the image.

While the Bajan singer has been releasing hits since 2005, she took the visual way back to the past for her eighth LP. The cover art features a young RiRi on her first day of daycare in Barbados. In the Roy Nachum-designed art piece, the mini version of Rihanna is also covered in red.

Her favorite album cover was created from the mind of Nachum, who distorted the black-and-white image. Nearly identical to his piece "The King," a gold crown was also placed over the young singer's eyes while a poem by Chloe Mitchell in braille lettering is spread over the cover.

“The whole idea behind the braille is people who have sight are sometimes the people who are blindest,” said the 27-year-old artist.

The bad gyal went to Instagram to define her new album title as well. "A person opposed to a particular policy, activity, or idea," read a definition of the word anti, shared by Ri. Also featured in the post is a paragraph that explains the album title further where she notes that she often does the "very antithesis of what the public expects."

Three singles have already dropped from the upcoming album, "American Oxygen," "FourFiveSeconds" and "Bitch Better Have My Money." With Kanye West at the helm as executive producer and an unnamed track with J. Cole on the horizon, it surely won't be something to miss. Unfortunately, there's no release date for the project yet.
