Fashion fans might have been wowed by the sheer, shimmering dress Rihanna wore to accept her Fashion Icon Award at the 2014 CFDA awards on Monday (June 2), but two of her fellow musicians were not. In a recent interview, TLC's Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas slammed RiRi for showing so much skin.

According to EntertainmentWise, the two singers shaded Rihanna's provocative clothing choices to Australian news outlet Channel 7 Sunrise.

“Every time I see you, you don't have to be naked,” T-Boz said. (Quotes via EntertainmentWise.) “It’s easy to sell sex.”

The singer reportedly acknowledged the backlash she and Chili get from speaking out, adding, "It's hard for us to say anything because any time we do, they say, 'Oh TLC must be jealous', but I call a spade a spade."

Rihanna is known for making bold fashion choices, posing topless for British GQ and Vogue Brazil, and sharing scantily clad pics of herself on her Instagram.

Chili reportedly agreed with her bandmate, saying, "We became the biggest girl selling group of all time with our clothes on and that says a lot. We could go around too with booby cakes [breasts] out all day long.”

Rihanna posted a cryptic message to her Twitter in what appears to be a response to TLC's shading. It looks like she's not about to let the critics get her down!
