Ripping Off The Food Stamp Program Is Another Way Of Stealing

For years how many times have we heard " crime doesn't pay", no matter what the crime or theft. Those doing wrong or fraud somehow someway always get caught in the end. People most days will try anything thinking that they will never get busted.

Take for example this country's Food Stamp Program or SNAP. For years folks or some folks lets be clear has totally taken advantage of or abused this program. Some lie about their income, household status or how many actually live in the household. There some out there that's just simply made it a business to defraud.

I'm sure you like many have seen the abuse in the stores, some buy things that are not needed or purchase tons of unhealthy foods, some things shouldn't even be on the list, but who would regulate that. I'm all for someone who deserves the program and needed help. But wow the abuse and Fraud runs rampant not just in central Alabama but all over the country.

Even local Vendors are involved, just last week a local Central Alabama food store was fined and sentenced to 3 years in Jail and fined over 5 million dollars. Like I said earlier, and like my parents always told me, crime doesn't pay.
