Road Rage Ending in Gunfire Caught on Video in North Carolina

A story of road rage from Newport, North Carolina, has become a big issue after a video shows a disturbing altercation that took place on Sunday afternoon following a dispute.

The video begins with a man, identified as 40-year-old Bradley Turner, confronting a driver for, as he said, “trying to run me off the road.” Once the man throws a punch at the driver, two young men jump out of the truck and beat the assailant. A woman, later identified as Turner’s wife, Christy, comes around the front of the car and hands him a handgun.

The sound of the gun discharging happens shortly after Bradley Turner grabs the gun from his wife. It’s difficult to see exactly when the gun fires but he clearly approaches the truck with the gun pointed towards the young men.

The two young men in the video were interviewed by WCTI, the local ABC affiliate, and they explained what led to the incident. Here are the charges according to the story:

Bradley was charged with discharging a weapon into property, two counts of assault by pointing a gun, going armed to the terror of the people, injury to personal property, and assault. Christy was charged with two counts of assault by pointing a gun. The suspects had since bonded out of jail.

Watch the video for yourself but be warned that it’s graphic and contains adult language.
