Saturday will be the final home game for a group of Alabama seniors that are closing in on 50 wins in the past four seasons.

Among them is linebacker Ryan Anderson.

The Daphne native and Alabama's leader in tackles for loss this season will step on the field inside Bryant-Denny Stadium for the last time for the Iron Bowl.

"It means a lot to men, man," Anderson said. "It means a lot. Especially going against this team in this big rivalry. At home. My last time in front of these fans. It's going to be big.

Anderson is one of just seven players in this year's senior class that hail from the state of Alabama so he has a different perspective on this game than many of his peers.

"Growing up in this state, it's either them or us. You're either an Alabama or Auburn fan. This is what it comes down to. It boils down to this."

For Anderson, he grew up a fan of the Crimson Tide after his cousin Wallace Gilberry played for Alabama from 2004-07, which provides extra motivation for this weekend.

"I feel obligated to go out there and do my best on every play. Growing up, my cousin played here so I was an Alabama fan when it came to the Alabama-Auburn game. And I used to hate the kids running around with the thumb up, man. I hated that."
