The National Weather Service has placed most of Tuscaloosa, Walker, and Bibb Counties in an elevated risk area; the forecast calls for the possibility of damaging winds in excess of 70 MPH, quarter size hail, and brief tornadoes.

Much of the state is state in a limited risk area. Tomorrow's storms could bring isolated damaging winds in excess of 60 MPH and quarter size hail; tornadoes are possible as well.

Storms could begin as early as 2 p.m Tuesday afternoon. We'll keep you updated as the forecast develops; be sure you're prepared for severe weather tomorrow.
