She’s Touched, I’m Tickled: America’s Got Talent

As much as I love the odd performances displayed on "America's Got Talent,"  I must admit that I've never watched an episode of the show when it actually aired. I've always gotten caught up later, as is the case with the clip I saw this morning.

I know this is supposed to be a sweet, touching moment; but I just can't get over this big muscular man with the strong yet dainty voice. Part of me wants to cheer for him and his originality, but my laughter is sucking the life out of my sensitivity.  I'm sure this isn't the last we've heard of Travis Pratt, as he's received a unanimous yes. So, it's quite likely that I'll be laughing without restraint the next time, as the engagement has already taken place, leaving no room for other heartfelt emotions.
