Sisqo Performs ‘Thong Song’ in Brooklyn at Free SummerStage Concert [EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS]
Sisqo has kept a low-profile in recent years, but the R&B singer’s presence was loud and clear at Betsy Head Park in Brooklyn, N.Y., Wednesday night (June 11), where he performed for SummerStage’s free concert series.
Although Sisqo’s set was brief — about 30 minutes long — it was packed with energy. Complete with backup dancers, the former Dru Hill member proves that he’s not only a talented vocalist but with over 15 years of experience, he’s still has got moves.
‘Incomplete,’ ‘Unleash the Dragon’ and, of course, ‘Thong Song’ were included in his set as well as a few Dru Hill tracks. Before the show was over, Sisqo and his dancers paid tribute to deceased Cali Swag District members Montae “M-Bone” Talbert and Cahron “JayAre” Childs, and performed his rendition of ‘Billie Jean’ to commemorate Michael Jackson.
‘Last Dragon,’ his new album, will likely drop this summer, the crooner revealed. Sisqo also performed a snippet of a brand new song off of the forthcoming LP, which the Brooklyn crowd seemed to enjoy.
