Around this time of year, most of us want to spend more time outside. We start buying things like insect repellant, fertilizer, and other gardening necessities or things that make the outdoors more enjoyable. Most of us have heard that putting down lime will deter some animals. Unfortunately, Lowe's apparently didn't get the memo.

A Lowe's employee is said to have been bitten by a copperhead snake while shopping in the lawn and gardening section of a North Carolina store. The employee was treated at an area hospital for a non-life threatening injury, and the store was cleaned after the incident. However, it's well worth noting that such incidents can happen in the gardening section in most stores. So, buyers should always be on alert.
