A Birmingham mother of 4 was recently charged with child endangerment, attempting to elude, resisting arrest, and second degree assault after a brief car chase in which one of the woman's children was standing up in the front seat. According to al.com a trooper spotted a Chevrolet Impala traveling at a high rate of speed on Interstate 59 southbound. As the Impala passed the trooper, he noticed at least one child standing up in the front seat. One of the vehicle's tire was a "significantly small" spare.
After attempting to pull the suspect over, she yelled out of her window that she was not going to stop. After pulling off in a private driveway the suspect got aggressive and began to hit the officer and kicked him in the knee.

The suspect was finally handcuffed and taken to jail. My question is....what happened to the 4 kids in the car? There has been no mention of the children from any news outlet. And why would you resist arrest and you have your children in the car?
