Spotlight On One Of My Favorite Bands [VIDEO]

I just learned Frankie Beverly and Maze will be performing in Birmingham June 4, 2016.

In 1977 “Maze featuring Frankie Beverly” was released. In case you don’t remember, “Lady of Magic”, “Happy Feelin’s”, “While I’m Alone”, and “Look at California” were all on this album.

This was just the beginning. Frankie released seven more albums including “Joy and Pain” in 1980. Between 1977 and 1983 Maze featuring Frankie Beverly released a total of 8 albums all certified gold.

Maze is one of my favorite bands from the 70’s and 80’s. I can’t count the number times I have seen Maze featuring Frankie Beverly perform. They are amazing on stage. Check out this video of their 1980 performance in New Orleans.
