Have you ever wanted to travel outside the country but couldn't find the time or money to do so? Have you ever wondered what life is really like in other countries? If so, this event is one you DO NOT want to miss.

Saturday, October 24, Stillman College in Association with the Tuscaloosa Chapter of The Links, Inc. and the Stillman College Association of International Students presents International Day, an International Trends and Services event, which aims to expand the global awareness of the educational, health, and cultural needs of people of African descent around the world, with special emphasis on women and their families.

Activities to be held at the Wynn Fine Arts Center from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. include a parade of flags, children's games, virtual country tours, an international fashion show, arts and crafts, food tasting, giveaways, and more! Attendees are also encouraged to donate toiletry items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, wash cloths, feminine hygiene products, soaps, baby blankets, hand sanitizer and pacifiers as well as yarn as a means of providing tangible service in other countries.

The goal of International Day is to assist and improve lives worldwide through programs of empowerment and public policy leadership in advocating for social justice.
