Stillman Student Selected as HBCU All-Star

Do you know Jasmine Lavender? You will never believe what this Stillman College student is doing!

According to a press release from the U.S. Department of Education, 73 students from 63 HBCU's have been named as the 2016 HBCU All-Stars. This group will serve as ambassadors for their respective HBCUs and will participate in the White House HBCU Week Conference.

Lavender, a Tuscaloosa native, was one of the 73 selected as an All-Star out of over 300 applicants.

Can any good thing come out of Tuscaloosa? Apparently so!
