For a number of years, my daughter and I have followed the career of Storm Reid, who plays Meg in "A Wrinkle in Time."

Storm's father and I became acquainted when Jireh was very young, as in while she was in one of her first car seats. Of course, through conversation, we both expressed pride in our children.

Through the years,  Jireh has studied Storm's career. It began with features in her favorite television shows like The Thundermans and went on to movies like White Water. So, when she caught wind that Storm would be Meg in "A Wrinkle in Time," she was determined see this movie.

Unfortunately, my work schedule has made it hard for us to catch the movie, but I assured Jireh we would see the movie. So, although late, we are in the theater.

Initially, I thought the movie might cause me to remember the book. It didn't. No doubt about it, I read just enough to pass tests.

Never the less, Storm Reid is a remarkable actress and evokes a range of emotions throughout the movie, and no I'm not biased. The girl's just good!
