Shootout Leaves 1 Dead, 2 Injured

Police are investigating a homicide after four men were involved in a shooting at an apartment complex on Sunday night and one of the men was killed. Officers found the suspect in his bedroom with a gunshot wound to his stomach.

The victim of the shooting was shot in the chest and was pronounced dead at UAB.

A third person was also brought to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the groin area.

According to al.com, two women got into a verbal argument over a child. One of the women left the scene and came back with the victim and two more men.

Witnesses told police the shootout involved the suspect, victim and the two other men.
