Iron Bowl

Alabama went on the road and fell to in-state rival Auburn today 48-45. The Crimson Tide scored the most points that Auburn has given up all year but it wasn’t enough to claim the victory on The Plains. Alabama kicker, Joseph Bulovas missed a 30-yard field goal off the left upright with 2:00 left in the game that would have tied the game up at 48.

The Alabama Crimson Tide (10-1) hit the road today to take on Auburn (8-3) at 2:30 p.m. in Jordan-Hare Stadium. Coach Nick Saban takes his fifth ranked Crimson Tide to The Plains, hoping to lead his team to a decisive win to leave an impression on the College Football Playoff Committee.

The two best teams in the SEC will square off once again with a conference championship and playoff implications on the line for both programs.

Top-ranked Alabama has a chance to complete another undefeated regular season while Auburn looks to disrupt that mission for the second straight year.
