The American south, there is no other place like it on earth. We southerners are a special breed of folk. We have our own way of doing things that nobody else does.

From our hospitality to our cooking to our lifestyle to our way of communicating, there is no place like the south.

There are quite a few things that differ here in the south.

'Duke' is not a name or a person but a reference to ones butt, 'chap' is not what cowboys wore it's referring to a child.

There are countless examples of southern dialect.
