Teen Shot In Church Parking Lot

A Jefferson County teen was seriously wounded after being shot in a church parking lot. The man suspected of the shooting has been charged with attempted murder.

According to al.com, police responded to a call of shots fired to find a 16-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound outside of Sandusky Church of Christ.

The incident happened after several teens had gathered in the church parking lot to fight.

Once the fight ended, an adult got out of a car with a handgun and shot the victim.
