33-year-old Justin Ross Harris has been charged with felony murder after leaving his 22-month-old son in a hot SUV for hours in Marietta, GA. Harris, originally from Tuscaloosa, is also charged with cruelty to children in his son's death.

Circuit Judge Gregory Nicholas has refused to reduce the bond amount for a man accused of killing the sex offender convicted of abusing the man's daughter. Nicholas says a lower court must consider the bond before he can intervene.
