According to Tuscaloosa Police, authorities are searching for a man who attempted to kidnap a 21-year-old University of Alabama student Wednesday night. The suspect was in a dark-colored SUV, believed to possibly be a 1998-2003 Dodge Durango.

21-year-old Johnathon Deon Gordon, Jr was arrested yesterday after police found him in the bedroom of a 13-year-old girl at a home on 25th Ave E. Gordon was taken to the Tuscaloosa County Jail and charged with one count of second-degree rape. His bond was set at $30,000.
