A 26-year-old man was shot by his mother's 67-year-old husband in the 6700 block of Hargrove Road East yesterday afternoon. So far, no charges have been filed, and the victims injuries aren't considered life-threatening.

Last year, the Crimson Tide Foundation bought the home in which Nick Saban lives for nearly $3.1 million and has paid property taxes on it ever since.  The foundation was set up to fund athletics at the University of Alabama.
