Yesterday evening, West Alabama Narcotics Task Force agents arrested 29-year-old Le'Ron McClain for trafficking synthetic marijuana. He was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $500,000 bond.

Yesterday, an 80-year-old man shot a 37-year-old Northport woman in the head during a struggle for a gun she allegedly pulled while the two were arguing over money. The man has not been charged with a crime, as he was said to have been acting in self-defense.
