‘The Voice’ Season 4, Episode 28 Recap: Danielle Bradbery Wins Competition, Pitbull, Nelly + More Perform

NBC

‘The Voice’ finale arrived last night and you know what that means: lots of recap footage from the previous episodes (just in case we all have amnesia), lots of random performances from familiar faces (whether from past contestants or old judges) and the judges discuss how proud they are of the three finalists. In case you actually do have amnesia, the last ones standing were the Swon Brothers, Danielle Bradbery and Michelle Chamuel.

Christina Aguilera returned to ‘The Voice’ and performed with Mr. Worldwide aka Pitbull for their hit ‘Feel This Moment.’ In a typical Pitbull performance, he dressed in a three-piece suit and there were lots of scantily dressed dancers and confetti. Oh, and how could we forget, Christina is looking h-o-t!

The Swon Brothers were joined by some old faces — Holly Tucker, Amber Carrington and Justin Rivers — to perform Lady Antebellum’s ‘Stars Tonight’ for one big ol’ country good time onstage.

Michelle Chamuel teamed up with One Republic as they performed the sweet song ‘Counting Stars.’ Michelle really knows how to command the stage even when she shares it with someone who’s a well-known artist. Hopefully, One Republic’s lead singer Ryan Tedder pens her a song when she decides to create her debut album.

Host Carson Daly showed a montage of Usher’s weird yet unintentionally hilarious coaching ways. And Nelly came back on the scene to perform with country act (like this show needs anymore country music) Florida Georgia Line for the ‘Cruise’ remix. It was a fun performance and nothing beats a country track with some hip-hop influence.

Vedo, Kris Thomas, Josiah Hawley and Garrett performed ‘Aint’ Too Proud to Beg’ with mic stands and a little two-step. And to upstage this Temptations look, Bruno Mars hit the stage with his awesome band and rocked with his new song, ‘Treasure.’ Bruno knows how to put on a good show by adding a little old school flavor into the mix.

Judith Hill, Sasha Allen, Karina Iglesias and Kathia returned to sing ‘Never Gonna Get It’ by En Vogue. As awesome as all four ladies are, they slightly disappointed by not delivering with their full potential for this song.

Then there was some more country (hey, the two finalist are country acts) with Danielle Bradbery and country singer Hunter Hayes joining for a duet of ‘I Want Crazy.’

Team Usher reunited (Michelle Chamuel, Vedo, Josiah and Kathia) for a group performance of ‘We Can Work it Out.’ And then out of nowhere, Cher popped out Las Vegas showgirl style with a head piece and not much clothing (she’s in her ’70s and can rock this look!). She performed her girl power anthem ‘Woman’s World’ and it was awesome.

Finally the time came to announce the winner. The Swon Brothers were the third runner up, which meant it was down to Danielle and Michelle for ‘The Voice’ crown. Would the country sweetheart or the edgy girl take the win? Danielle Bradbery of Team Blake took home the honor. She was set to perform after her big win but she was far too speechless to even attempt her song.

Congratulations, Danielle!
