You know back in April when I started there's always some hesitation about starting a new Job or position. One of course is the move and or drive everyday and of course how well you will be received in your new work spot or in my case the city that I'll now speak to on the air.

1. The drive every until I find a place here in Tuscaloosa isn't as bad as I originally feared. Getting around town is fairly easy, people don't drive crazy around here. Traffic is mild at best and dies off in the late afternoon.

2. Can we talk about the food and downtown atmosphere, I was really surprised just  one Friday night relaxing after a day of work on University having a beer and pizza hanging with my co workers. This place has that Small town feel, but not like " Back to the Future " small town feel.

Great eating spots all up and down University, I would see it spotlighted during some football games, but always just took it for granted.

3. They just love Alabama Football and WTUG, don't think I need to say much about that because we all know just how much all central west Alabama / Tuscaloosa loves the tide.

But WTUG is the number one dominant radio station in town hands down, and I dare not monkey around with it too much. I love the listeners interaction and how they have told me just what they want and what they want to hear every day.

Community Aware and Strong is what I like to say, they are really plugged In and I love that about my audience.
