Sing along, "I don't wanna grow up. I'm a Toys R Us kid. There's a million toys at Toys R Us that I can play with..."

For many of us who were in denial, the closings of Toys R Us stores across the country solidified the fact that we had to grow up. Never mind the fact that we're already well into our 30s and beyond with families and responsibilities. Noooo.... It was the closings of Toys R Us stores that put the nail in the coffin.

Or so we thought.

Turns out, Forbes reports that Toys R Us is making a reemergence via parent company Tru Kids. Right now, the plan is to open 70 stores in Asia, Europe, and India; but there is also an unreleased plan for growing the brand in the U.S. However, it looks like the bigger emphasis will be on e-commerce.

Can't say this is a bad idea, especially since online sales appear to be growing in popularity. Yet, some of us still like the idea of being able to see (and sometimes test) items before purchasing.

Let's have a discussion! Should Tuscaloosa push for a store to (re)open here, or are online sales the best way to go?
