Tuscaloosa City Council Approves New Walmart “Neighborhood Market” Highway 69 South
On Tuesday The Tuscaloosa City Council approved a development for a new Walmart "Neighborhood Market" highway 69 south location.Council members voted to develop the new location at the intersection of Patriot Parkway and highway 69 south.
The Map Company is planning to build a 42,000 square foot Walmart "Neighborhood Market with a produce department , deli , pharmacy , bakery and fuel station. Once completed the store would employ 95 full and part time employees.
This would also be the third Walmart "Neighborhood Market in Tuscaloosa , along with the location on Hargrove Road near Skyland Boulevard and the Mcfarland Boulevard location that is currently underway. For more info log onto tuscaloosanews.com
