Tuscaloosa City Councilman Burrell Odom Has Passed Away

Tuscaloosa City Councilman Burrell Odom has died at the age of 62. I had the pleasure of getting to know Burrell Odom.  He was one of kindest people you will ever meet.

Burrell was also a member if the Tuscaloosa Golf Association. He was present in the studio when the Tuscaloosa Golf Association made their $500 donation to the WTSK/WTUG toy drive.  Burrell always had a smile on his face and was fun to be around.

“I am shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of beloved councilman Burrell Odom,” said Mayor Walter Maddox. “He had a kind and gentle soul. He was a genuine representative of District One and a good friend to all. Stephanie joins me in sending prayers to his family and loved ones, and we offer our deepest condolences.”

He will be missed.  R.I.P Burrell Odom.
