How do you simulate living in poverty, I mean how do you do about trying to be broke with no money or barely making ends me? In this world, and day and age, why would you even want to do that.

I've thought about it for a second and I said to myself, what's the best way to face the challenges that lie ahead for so many in Tuscaloosa schools, it's to come out and face it head on. I never thought of this approach until I read a story earlier  today.

The group is called "The Face Of Poverty " made up of some 60 principals and faculty members within the Tuscaloosa School system. There are large number of students parents that are living in poverty or just below that line, with out any means to even get to school or PTA meetings or even to practice or school events.

According to stats over 25% of children in Tuscaloosa schools live below the poverty line. 65% qualify for some sort of reduced meal. I admire what the schools are trying to do, just maybe it will give them the results they are looking for.
