Tuscaloosa County Couple Arrested for Murder

In a strange twist of events, one local couple has been arrested for a murder in North Carolina at a trailer park.

Phoebe Morgan and Eugene McDonald were taken into custody Friday evening, homicide investigators told the media today.

They allegedly killed two men over a dispute that stemmed from a custody battle. Morgan's daughter, Katey Millican,  was also arrested last week for conspiracy to commit murder on her ex-boyfriend, who was later found dead.

A car that may have been used during the murder was seized from Morgan's house as well.

Investigators are still wondering how a custody battle got this heated that it could lead to people dying.

Morgan and McDonald are being held in Tuscaloosa while awaiting extradition.

No word on where the 3 year-old daughter is living.
