Tuscaloosa Kidnapping Suspect Caught

Remember when it was reported that a man was taken from his home at Brookstone Apartments and dropped off in Birmingham in early April? Well, the suspect in that case, 23-year-old Sherman Rountree has been captured.

According to AL.com, Rountree was pulled over for traffic violations in New Jersey, and during a run of his information, it was discovered he was wanted in Tuscaloosa on kidnapping and burglary charges. He was then placed under arrest.

Rountree is being extradited to Tuscaloosa.
