A Tuscaloosa man has been arrested on kidnapping and robbery charges!

According to Fox 6, 26-year-old Cody Len Estes approached a man who'd been dropped off at a complex at 632 23rd Street early Thursday morning and ordered the man to call his friend who'd dropped him off to come back.

Estes is said to have then assaulted him, knocked him to the floor, and took his belongings including money. The victim was able to get out of the apartment, but he was run down by Estes, who threatened to kill him and then dragged him back into the apartment.

Eventually, the victim made an escape by jumping from the apartment's balcony and onto the stairs. He ran to a nearby convenience store to call for help.

This is the kind of stories movies are made of. Hard to believe such activity is happening in Tuscaloosa. Perhaps we need to pay more attention to Cee-Lo and open our eyes to the sign of the times.
