This is the craziest story I've seen yet. Two postal workers were arrested for their part in helping local drug dealer receive and distribute more than 500 pounds of marijuana through the U.S.Postal Service.

The bringing down of the operation came from the West Alabama Narcotics Task Force after agents discovered a large amount of marijuana being shipped into Tuscaloosa and suspected postal workers were in on the scheme.

According to AL.com, employees at three different post offices in Tuscaloosa in Northport, Downtown Tuscaloosa, and on Skyland Boulevard

had been recruited by a known drug trafficker to facilitate the delivery of large quantities of illegal drugs shipped through the U.S. Postal service to the trafficking organization, and to alert local dealers if a package was being watched by law enforcement officers who suspected drugs were inside. Full Story
