Tuscaloosa Radio Legend Eddie Mack Passes

Sunday, July 17, Tuscaloosa and West Alabama lost a long time personality: Eddie Mack.

Affectionately known as "Mack the Bear" (and if you've been following him a very long time, you add "with the curly hair"), Mack has graced air waves for over 50 years, with most of his time spent on WTUG and WTSK. He served the Radio Family with pride and loved sharing his favorite gospel music. Mack could always be counted on for an honest opinion and a great laugh.

Eddie Mack will be remembered as a dedicated and consistent employee, an amazing father, and a hilarious and faithful friend.
