A man was arrested by the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office
for opening fire on a police officer in Greene County late Tuesday night.
The situation began with a domestic violence incident between the man and a woman in Greene County's Boligee.
Several shots were fired into the windshield of the Greene County deputy who responded to the original call.
The officer was hurt by broken glass, but not hit by any of the bullets according to AL.com.
the man faces attempted murder charges for firing on the deputy,
