Lately, it seems that the Tuscaloosa City School System has been riddled with scandal, and it only seems to be getting worse as two instructors have been taken into custody for allegedly abusing an autistic student.

According to Tuscaloosa Police, Mildred Pamela Basye and Flora Bryant, a teacher and classroom aid respectively, turned themselves in on an assault third degree charge following an investigation of reports of physical abuse of an 11 year-old non-verbal autistic student. The abuse is said to have been going on at Oak Hill School since August 2015.

Both Basye and Bryant were taken to the Tuscaloosa County Jail on $500.00 bond each.

All I have to say is kudos to the mother because if I found out ANYBODY abused my child.... I'd be the one getting locked up. I'm not saying violence is the answer, but it is what it is.
