Tuscaloosa Will Soon Have a New Choice for Tacos

If you've driven through downtown Tuscaloosa recently, you may have noticed a "coming soon" banner hanging where Local Catch once was. 

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop will soon be the latest addition to the ever growing restaurant landscape in Tuscaloosa when they open at 2321 University Blvd., next to Glory Bound.

Fort Worth, Texas based Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is a fast-casual restaurant serving fresh, handmade Baja-style Mexican food and currently operates 81 stores in 9 states, with many more to open soon. Specialties include fish tacos, jumbo burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and queso.

The business originally got its start on Berry Street in Fort Worth and was bought in 2003 by father and son restaurateurs Alan and Chuck Bush. After revamping the original store and crafting the perfect combination of tacos, drinks and success, they set out to share it with everyone.

The Tuscaloosa location's Facebook page doesn't show an opening date but keep checking back here as we will try and provide an update.
